A walk & talk for neurodivergent folk* a collaboration between Danny at Good Footing & Jules at Kindred Neurodiversity

Are you looking for a safe, calm, outdoor opportunity to connect with like-minded people from the neurodivergent community across Yorkshire?

So far, we have held two events which were both a success. Attendees shared that they felt relaxed and welcomed into the group. Our first event was on the rugged and wild Norland Moor, and our second was at the stunning Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

Our next event is Sunday 14th June 2026, 10am at National Trust Wentworth Castle Gardens. The following event its planned for Sunday 12th July 2026 (location to be confirmed).

*No diagnosis needed to attend*

Danny and Jules met through social media where they began supporting each others businesses. Danny’s CIC Good Footing is all about movement & mindset, and Jules’ coaching business Kindred Neurodiversity is all about connection, community & coaching. Both neurodivergent, both based in Yorkshire and both keen to build something meaningful to support the local neurodivergent community. Several conversations later, the idea of collaboration was solidified and at the start of 2026, the very first Kindred Footing event was launched.

The aim is simple, outdoor events where neurodivergent adults can meet up for fresh air, gentle exercise and judgement-free, easy conversation with like-minded people. Community is important for everyone, but especially for those who may often feel like they don’t belong. There is no requirement for a diagnosis, often the stage when you are exploring the idea of neurodivergence is the time when you most search for connection with others who get it.

So far, our events have been a success with those who attended. Despite pre-event nerves, people shared that they felt welcomed and included and that the conversations felt relaxed. Some great connections were made with people keen for future events.

If you are looking to connect with others and get out more, we would love to welcome you. If we can answer any questions that might make it easier for you to join us, please just drop us a message.
